As nature unleashed its fury with full force and less mercy, Uttarakhand was witness to a high-scale flood disaster. So merciless that it wrecked havoc in countless lives. But we thought hope can be engineered even in the worst scenarios. My Home Group weaved an effort to extend protection to the affected.

We launched HELPING HAND, a Clothes Collection Drive for the flood-affected victims. We created awareness on the severity of the situation with an appeal to the people to part clothes which otherwise may not be of use to them. We set the momentum by dispatching 2000 brand-new raincoats. Soon, there was a heavy downpour of help from our staff, the corporate and people elsewhere. And by the end of June 2013, we collected over 10 Tonnes of clothes.

My Home family expresses its sincere thanks to every single contributor to the initiative. Also, we acknowledge and thank the support extended by its logistics partner Jet Airways & Jet Konnect.
